Deven Joseph Grosklos, a beloved son, brother, grandson, and friend, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, December 20th, 2025, at the age of 23. Born on August 5th, 2002, in Marietta, Ohio, Deven was known for his infectious smile and warm spirit.
Deven attended Marietta High School. He worked hard to complete his GED on his first try. Deven's love for music and sports was well-known, and he found immense joy in gathering with family and friends. His recent travels out west with close friends were a testament to his adventurous spirit and love for life.
Deven is survived by his loving parents, Amy Lynn Grosklos and Jason Ryan Grosklos. He leaves behind two devoted brothers, Derek and Logan Grosklos, who will forever cherish their memories together. Deven is also survived by his maternal grandmother, Suzanne Carver, his paternal grandparents, Bobby and Mary Grosklos, his paternal great-grandmother, Waneeda Grosklos, along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins, whom will all deeply miss his presence.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Larry Carver, whose memory Deven held close to his heart. Deven was very close with his grandfather, and his family is at peace knowing he is together again with his papa.
A celebration of Deven’s life will be announced at a later time.
