Here are the top three stories in Marietta today:

1. The Marietta Friends of the Washington County Public Library recently contributed $10,000 towards Match the Imagination's Imagination Library fund. Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library is an early childhood book gifting program that has given out over 160 million free books in 26 years. The current donation total for the fund is $47,616. 2. For children turning 5 years old on or before Aug. 1, it's time to begin the Kindergarten registration process. Verify your child's eligibility and Marietta City Schools will mail out a registration packet. If you're interested in registering, you can also attend one of their Kindergarten Registration Days.
