This was a unique project for Habitat for Humanity, as it was built with two blind family members in mind. (Marietta Times)
2. The winter storm on Monday is a reminder for Marietta residents to prepare for harsh weather. How households should be equipped with shovels, salt, and ice scrapers for their home and vehicles, as well as gloves, scarves, and boots for when they're outside. Ohio Senate candidate JD Vance made a campaign stop in Marietta on Tuesday afternoon to discuss inflation, opioid issues, inflation, restoring the U.S. manufacturing base, and other important issues.
