  1. Habitat for Humanity has finished its first residence within the Marietta city limits for the first time in over 10 years. The house features a porch, yard, 3 bedrooms, and two bathrooms. This was a unique project for Habitat for Humanity, as it was built with two blind family members in mind. (Marietta Times)
  2. The winter storm on Monday is a reminder for Marietta residents to prepare for harsh weather. How households should be equipped with shovels, salt, and ice scrapers for their home and vehicles, as well as gloves, scarves, and boots for when they're outside. When Washington County is on a level 2 snow emergency, residents should be prepared to have enough food indoors so they can stay inside. (Marietta Times)

Ohio Senate candidate JD Vance made a campaign stop in Marietta on Tuesday afternoon to discuss inflation, opioid issues, inflation, restoring the U.S. manufacturing base, and other important issues.
