Here are the top three stories today in Marietta:
- A Marietta College choir showed their support for Ukraine by performing and recording a Ukranian hymn. Donning traditional Ukranian shawls and blue-and-yellow pins, the singers gathered in a small room to film the performance. According to Choir Director Jay Dougherty, the lyrics centered around themes of freedom, peace, and solidarity. (WTAP)
- A lawsuit filed last year against Marietta Main Street was dismissed this week. The plaintiff, Emanuel's LLC, owns and operates TLV Restaurant downtown; Ari Gold is listed as the CEO. The lawsuit, which was filed regarding the cups used in the designated outdoor refreshment area, was one of several filed against the city by Gold and his attorney. (Subscription: Marietta Times)
