  1. On Thursday night, the Marietta City Council met for a quick regular meeting to discuss a handful of agenda items. The primary issue discussed at the meeting was city funding. Residents discussed their concerns regarding schools, safety, and infrastructure in Marietta and asked the council how the city is budgeting to address these concerns. (Marietta Times)
  2. In response to August’s cyberattack, Memorial Health System is offering free credit monitoring services. Over this past week, the health system reached out to those who had their data exposed to cybercriminals. Over 200,000 people were identified as potentially being vulnerable in the cyberattack and the credit monitoring system will cover them for at least a year and maybe two. (WTAP)
