  1. After a bit of morning rain on Friday, Marietta can expect mild temperatures this weekend. Saturday will be mostly cloudy and chilly with a high of 38 and a low of 21. Sunday will see more sun with a high of 49 and a low of 21. (Marietta Patch)

  3. On Tuesday, Marietta College sent a letter to faculty and administration that talked about short-term cuts. The letter stated that while their number one goal is to “enhance the overall student experience" tough decisions will need to be made. What these changes are and when they'll occur was not revealed in the letter, however, it did state that there will be tough conversations in the next 18-24 months. These short-term cuts are due to a drop in enrollment. (Subscription: Marietta Times)
