On 071421 at around 0051 hrs., P67 initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle after identifying the person who was operating the vehicle to have a suspended driver's license. The driver of the vehicle, Courtney Nichole Clayton, was issued a citation for driving under suspension. She will also be summonsed on charges of possession of marijuana and marijuana paraphernalia as well as having possession of a drug abuse instrument.

At 0239 on 071421 P32 was dispatched to the theft of a six-pack of beer at Speedway, 433 Second Street.

On 071421 at around 0437 hrs., P67 responded to the Marietta Mills Apartments in reference to a subject damaging the front door to an apartment. This case is under investigation.

On July 14, 2021, P50 responded to 416 Mulberry Street in reference to a broken window. Upon arrival, P50 found that the next-door neighbor, Dale Mincks was high on methamphetamine, had broken the window out at 416 Mulberry Street, and proceeded to enter the house and check it. This was due to him thinking that someone was in trouble and yelling for help.

On 07/16/2021, P72 responded t0 121 Gilman Avenue in reference to a male subject kicking down the front door to the residence and assaulting a female inside while calling her racial slurs. Officers located the suspect, Isaac Allen Dodd who advised he and another man were confronting the residents about online posts regarding their children. The other man was inside and when yelling was heard, Dodd kicked in the door. Dodd was arrested and charged with aggravated burglary and felonious assault.

On 071821 at 1532 hours P68 was dispatched to 270 Ridgewood Court Apartment B in reference to domestic violence. Mark Allen Bennett was arrested for domestic violence and taken to the Washington County Jail.

On 07182021 at 8:P.M. a vehicle was reported stolen from 510 Front Street. Later in the day, the car was found abandoned on Latrobe Street in Parkersburg.

On July 19, 2021 P50 responded to 410 Colegate Drive in reference to a theft. Upon arrival, P50 found that between July 17 and July 19 at 9:00 A.M. that someone had stolen a catalytic converter off one of the company vehicles.
