On 07/20/21 P52 responded to 623 Virginia Street in reference to a domestic violence complaint. Andrew Davis was arrested and charged with domestic violence.

On 07/20/21, P65 was dispatched to Walmart in reference to a shoplifting complaint. Upon arrival and after the investigation, a 49-year-old female was detained and questioned. The female was detained and questioned. The female admitted to stealing several items. A summons was requested for theft.

On 07/21/21 subject reported that he had seen someone running from his apartment the day before carrying his DVD player. Also, the male suspect stole a cell phone.

On 07/21/21, P60 responded to Walmart referencing a theft complaint. Upon arrival and after investigation it was determined that a 33-year-old woman was using the self-checkout lane and while doing so, failed to scan several items totaling 136.24 a summons will be requested for a charge of theft.

21 008848 804 PIKE MARIETTA, OH
On 07/21/21 P60 along with other officers responded to Walmart referencing a theft complaint. When officers attempted to make contact with the suspect, she fled on foot from officers and was later apprehended. The female was identified as Taylor Brooke Stansberry. Stansberry was arrested and charged with theft and obstructing and was transported to the Washington County Jail.

On 07/23/21 at 1717HRS, P64 was dispatched to 804 Pike Street in reference to a theft complaint. Upon arrival, officers made contact with a 37-year-old woman who was observed to have not scanned all her items in the self-checkout and attempted to exit the store with the unpaid merchandise. At this time a summons will be requested for theft.

On 07/23/2021 at 18:22 P52 was dispatched to Walmart referencing a theft. A 41-year-old woman was observed not scanning and price tag switching. She will be summonsed for theft.

On 072321 P65 was dispatched to Walmart in reference to a theft complaint. Upon arrival and after the investigation, a 44-year-old female was identified and confessed to shoplifting multiple items from the store. She will be summoned on a charge of theft.

21 008965
On 072421 P65 attempted a traffic stop on I-77 in Marietta, OH. The vehicle failed to pull over for approximately 1 mile. After the vehicle came to a stop, P65 made approach and observed what appeared to be a juvenile hiding on the floor in the rear of the SUV. The operator was asked numerous questions and eventually stated that there was nobody inside the vehicle. The operator, James A Sabolick, was arrested for obstruction and taken to the Washington County Jail. The Human Trafficking Task Force was called and took over the investigation.

On 072421 AT 9:07 P.M., P25 was dispatched to 836 Pike Street in reference to a disturbance. Upon arrival and through investigation it was found that a domestic occurred. As a result, Wesley Joseph Huddleston was arrested for two counts of domestic violence and a felony count of disrupting public services for repeatedly taking the victim’s phone to prevent her from calling for help.

On 072421 P65 was dispatched to Walmart in reference to a theft complaint. After investigation, a male was found to have shoplifted multiple items and exited the store. The investigation is ongoing.

On 07/24/2021 AT 23:13 P52 was checking on a suspicious person/vehicle in the Lowe’s parking lot. During P52’s investigation, he found the subject slumped over and in possession of suspected methamphetamine. The suspected drugs will be sent for testing.

On July 25 2021 P52 was dispatched to 913 Fifth Street in reference to a well-being check on a 76-year-old female. On P52’s arrival, he found the victim deceased in her recliner. Appeared the victim had been deceased for some time. No signs of foul play.

On 07/25/21 at 1602HRS, P64 was dispatched to 804 Pike Street, Walmart in reference to a theft complaint. A 42-year-old woman was found to have not scanned multiple items at the self-checkout and exited past the last point of sale. A summons will be completed for the woman for theft.

On 07/25/21 at 19:04 HRS, P57 was dispatched to 753 Glendale Road, Apartment 2 in reference to a vehicle that had been taken by an unknown individual and then returned with damage while the owner wasn’t home.

On 072621 P65 was dispatched to Walmart in reference to a shoplifting. After investigation a 69-year-old female was identified and will be summoned on a charge of theft, after failing to pay for over $500 in merchandise.

On 07/26/21 P60 responded to Walmart in reference to a possible theft complaint. Upon arrival and after investigation, P60 learned that a 31-year-old woman was concealing items in her purse. She then began putting the items she had concealed back on the shelf and then paid for some items. P60 learned that she was previously trespassed from Walmart property. A summons will be requested for her to appear for criminal trespassing.
