On 080321 at 0700 hours, P68 was dispatched to a residence on 5th Street in reference to the death of an 82-year-old man. The death was from natural causes.

On 08/30/21 P71 met with Washington County children services and began an investigation into a child abuse case.

On 080321 at 1426hrs, P64 was dispatched to the Marietta P.D. in reference to a bad check complaint. Officers spoke with the store manager who advised a check was passed on 04/27/21 and found to be fraudulent. At this time this case remains under further investigation.

On 08/03/21 at 1624hrs, P64 was dispatched to 804 Pike Street, Walmart, in reference to a theft. Upon arrival officers spoke with APA employees who advised of a male who had pushed a cart full of $273 in items past the last point of sale without paying for items. An employee attempted to stop the male and he left the cart and fled the building. The suspect was discovered to have done the same thing in Vienna earlier in the day. A warrant was requested for the 40-year-old man.

On August 04, 2021, at 1030hrs, P66 was dispatched to 700 Pike Street in reference to a possible theft. Upon arrival and after investigation it was found that Alexis Clatterbuck used her grandfathers credit card without his permission to book hotel rooms. As a result, she was arrested and taken to the Washington County Jail for felony theft.

On 08/05/21 at around 1230 hours, P63 responded to a report of a stolen license plate at 503 Ferguson Street. The plate was recovered on 08/07/21.

S18, P52 AND P74 responded to 434 Douglas Avenue, Marietta in reference to a dispute between Mark Hart and his stepfather. The investigation revealed Hart spit in his father's face while brandishing a large hunting knife. Hart was arrested and charged with 3rd-degree felony domestic violence.

On 08/06/2021 at 2210hrs, P74 and S18 responded to the boathouse located at 218 Virginia Street in reference to a possible assault. The victim was tended to by MFD and transported to MMH for treatment. The investigation is ongoing.

On 08/06/21 at 23:54 hrs, P57 was dispatched to 498 Pike Street., Marathon gas station in regards to an employee theft. Upon arrival, P57 made contact with the two employees who advised that a man was being trained on his second day working there. Around 10:15-10:20 PM the man had left the store but never returned. Employees found that money was missing from the change box in the change box in the office. Upon having management view the cctv footage it was found that he had taken the money, concealed it in the front of his pants, and after doing so left the office walking out of the store.

On 08/07/2021 P52 went to 921 Front Street to assist P65 in reference to a disturbance. P52 arrested Timothy Francis Jr. for disorderly conduct, cease & desist.

On 08/08/21 P65 was dispatched to Walmart in reference to a theft complaint. The 25-year-old female suspect was found to have failed to scan $40 in items, identified, and a summons will be issued for theft.

On 08/09/21 P23 investigated the B&E at cascade drilling. Parts were taken from two trucks, and a third company truck was stolen.

On 08/09/21 at 1121hrs P75 was dispatched to 1233 Cisler Drive in reference to an overdose. This incident is still under investigation.
