Here are the top three stories today in Marietta:
- The Washington County Career Center recently purchased an anatomage table for use by local adult and medical high school students. The center was able to purchase the table through grants from the Bernard McDonough Foundation, the Marietta Community Foundation, and the Parkersburg Area Community Foundation. Staff from the WVU Medicine Camden Clark have been on site all week to train staff on the features of the table. (WTAP-TV)
- The upcoming forecast of freezing rain will make travel difficult for Marietta residents. The rain will continue into today. Ohio State Highway Patrol is asking drivers to be cautious as they are working hard to ensure the safety of all residents. (WTAP-TV)
- Dover boys basketball defeated Marietta to share the East Central Ohio League title. The final score was 73-32 with Dover dominating from beginning to end. At the end of the first half, Marietta had only scored 14 points. (New Philadelphia Times Reporter)
