- Ten years ago, Chris Pfeiffer learned to make sourdough bread at an upstate New York bakery before starting his own bakery a couple years later. After launching The Bread Garage and later taking an extended hiatus from the business, Pfeiffer is back — but this time, it's a family affair. Every Saturday, the Pfeiffers head to Marietta's River City Farmers Market to run The Bread Garage, frequently selling out. According to Pfeiffer, the family has learned to "stay positive" amid the long nights that accompany the rewarding work. (WTAP)
