- A man has been hospitalized after being hit by a car in Marietta on Thursday night. The pedestrian was struck at the intersection of 2nd and Putnam Streets around 6:00 PM Thursday evening. The driver of the car was not hurt and stayed at the scene. (WTAP-TV)
- Marietta College students returned to school for the start of their 2022 spring semester on Thursday. The school is looking to keep COVID cases low, as they did last semester. The school’s guidelines state that people must wear their masks indoors, though they do not need to wear one outdoors. (WTAP-TV)
- Yesterday, a clinical-stage biomedical company based in Marietta called ProtoKinetix announced that it will hold its Annual General Meeting of the Stockholders of the Company virtually with no option to attend the AGM in person due to ongoing COVID-19 concerns. (Valdosta)
