  1. Congressman Bill Johnson of Marietta recently spoke out against inflation and the Biden administration’s “reckless policies.” Johnson released a two-paragraph statement after the Department of Labor announced that inflation surged to its highest level in 40 years. He specifically blames President Joe Biden and reckless spending as the reason prices have gone up 7% in the last year. (WTRF)
  2. Dr. Lauri Reidmiller, an Associate Professor of Art at WVUP, was named West Virginia Art Educator of the Year by the West Virginia art educator association. She's being rewarded for her dedication to educating her students. Reidmiller originally started out as a graphic designer before transitioning to becoming a teacher. (WTAP)
