1. The City of Marietta is hiring seven seasonal workers for the Public Works Department. The jobs will last from Apr. 1 until Dec. 31. Applications can be printed through the city's website and dropped off at the Mayor's Office. (City of Marietta)
2. The 41st Marietta Times Regional Spelling Bee was held at the Mid-Ohio Valley Players Theatre on Friday. Spellers from different schools in the area competed in the event. 13-year-old Chloe Lesher won the Bee and a $100 grand prize. (Parkersburg News and Sentinel)
