Happy Father's Day, Dads!

This one goes out to the best dad in the world.

It’s difficult to put into words how grateful I am for everything my father has done for me. He’s taught me the importance of working hard and how to be successful while staying humble. He gave me a "Public Ivy" education that I will eternally value. He has taught me to always do the right thing. He’s patient and listens infinitely. He’s given me unmatched opportunities to see the world and live a life full of happiness.

My father, Richard E. Bosco, is the best dad in the world. He's taught me to be independent, but to forever know he's there. He's uber-loving, understanding and wants the best for his children and grandchildren.

I thank him for letting me style his hair with hair clips and ties as a little girl. I thank him for giving me morals and standards to live by. I thank him for being a role model to so many. I thank him for all of his time he's dedicated to me.

Most importantly, I thank him for being that dad who danced with me through our living room—my feet on his.

I thank him for the occasional tap dance through our kitchen as I practiced for a recital and attending every accolade (he and ) throughout the years—including the board-breaking karate tests, and football and basketball games where I cheered and danced.

I thank him for playing the piano with me after a lesson. He would wear my hot pink plastic sunglasses and play whatever came to mind—Little Richard style.

My college graduation day with my family was a day I'll never forget. My dad always shows his pride, but that day was extra special. I thank my parents, who've been together for 29 years, for showing me what true love is.

My dad has always been grounded. And, I can't wait for the day we dance at my wedding. It'll be one I've waited to cherish since that first dance 20+ years ago. I love you, Dad. Thank you for encouraging me to follow my dreams. (You're No. 1, you're the best, always and forever.)
