South Park Golf Course Reopens Saturday

One of Allegheny County's most popular public golf courses is back in business.

Saturday will be a duffer’s delight, as one of Allegheny County’s most popular public golf courses reopens for the season.

The South Park Golf Course, with both an 18-hole, par-72 course and a nine-hole, par 35 course, has been closed for annual maintenance and aerating. It will be open daily from dawn to dusk, weather and conditions permitting.

This year’s green fees and rental fees:

  • Adult admission, Monday through Thursday: $17 for county residents, $21 for all others for 18 holes; $12 and $15 for nine holes.
  • Junior admission, Monday through Thursday, $12 for county residents, $15 for all others for 18 holes; $8 and $10 for nine holes.
  • Youth admission, Monday through Thursday, $12 for county residents, $15 for all others for 18 holes; $8 and $10 for nine holes..
  • All ages, Friday through Sunday and holidays: $20 for county residents, $25 for all others for 18 holes; $13 and $16 for nine holes.
  • Golf cart rental: $19.50 for county residents, $24 for all others for 18 holes; $13 and $16 for 9 holes..
  • Golf cart rental, single rider: $9.75 for county residents, $12 for all others for 18 holes; $6.50 and $8 for nine holes..
  • Pull cart: $2 for county residents, $3 for all others for 18 holes; $1 for 9 holes for everyone..
  • Golf club rental: $5.50 for county residents, $7 for all others for 18 holes; $3.25 and $4 for nine holes.
