2 Arrested After Woman Shot In Face In Pittsburgh

Two people face multiple charges following a shooting in Pittsburgh Wednesday. Patch provides the details here.

PITTSBURGH, PA — Two people have been arrested after a woman was shot in the face in the city's Homewood South section on Wednesday.

Police were called to the 7000 block of Kelly Street at approximately 7:45 a.m. and found a woman who had been shot in the rear courtyard of a building. She was taken to an area hospital in critical condition.

A short time later, police arrested Christian Nicole Wells, 28, of Pittsburgh and Kevin Doubt-Young, 34, of Pittsburgh, in an apartment building near the shooting scene.

Both face charges that include attempted homicide, aggravated assault, robbery, receiving stolen property, carrying a firearm without a license and criminal conspiracy.

Both were taken to the Allegheny County Jail.
