Allegheny County CYF Worker Sexually Assaulted Juvenile Client: Police

An Allegheny County Children Youth and Families worker is accused of having a sexual relationship with a minor.

PITTSBURGH, PA — An Allegheny County Children, Youth and Family caseworker has been arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a juvenile client while working as a Youth Assistance Program truancy advocate.

Britta Emberg, 32, of Oakmont has been charged with statutory sexual assault, four counts of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, sexual assault, aggravated sexual assault, indecent assault, unlawful contact with a minor, sexual assault by an official, endangering the welfare of children, corruption of minors, criminal use of a communication facility, according to court documents.

The alleged victim, now 19, told authorities she and Emberg had a sexual relationship when the victim was between the ages of 14 and 16 years old. The alleged victim reported the alleged relationship to authorities in July.
