Body Found Over Embankment In Pittsburgh Suburb

RESERVE TOWNSHIP, PA — Allegheny County police are investigating after a body was discovered in Reserve Tuesday.

At 3:19 p.m., county 911 was notified of a woman's body over an embankment in the 4000 block of Spring Garden Road. First responders pronounced the woman dead at the scene.

Preliminary information shows the woman had been dead for an extended period. A gray backpack with black trim was located near the body.

There were no obvious signs of foul play.
