Chevy Chase To Make Pittsburgh Appearance

PITTSBURGH, PA — Veteran comic actor and "Saturday Night Live" legend Chevy Chase will make a holiday season appearance in Pittsburgh this year. Chase will celebrate the 35th anniversary of perhaps his biggest hit movie, "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation," by hosting a special screening at the Rivers Casino.
The screening and Q&A with Clark Griswold will occur on Nov. 29.
Chase was a pioneering performer on the first season of SNL and went on to star in such films as "Foul Play," "Caddyshack," "National Lampoon's Vacation," "Spies Like Us," and "Three Amigos."

“It’s a rare occasion to screen a classic film in the company of its iconic star,” Shannon Redmond, vice president of marketing at Rivers Casino Pittsburgh, said in a release. “A ‘Christmas Vacation’ re-watch is a family tradition for many people, and this year, Pittsburghers have the opportunity to join the film’s 35th anniversary celebration.”
