Embarrassing Debut For Pittsburgh Walk Of Fame
An awkward discovery was made shortly after the initial Pittsburgh Walk of Fame induction ceremony on Monday.
PITTSBURGH, PA — Oops.
Michael Keaton was one of 10 people inducted into the inaugural Pittsburgh Walk of Fame on Monday and called it one of the greatest days of his life.
“This is ridiculously nice,” Keaton said at the induction ceremony, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

“I want to thank you, honestly, from the bottom of my heart for even showing up for this. This is just so nice. This is true, what everyone says about these people. It is. I was just in New York City and I was in a car driving with a cab driver, I think, or someone was taking me somewhere. He said, ‘Everyone I know from Pittsburgh loves being from Pittsburgh,’ and it’s true. Such a great place.”
Keaton seemed truly appreciative, but there was just one problem that wasn't caught until after the ceremony: His first name was misspelled in the text accompanying his bronze star implanted into the sidewalk; Michael spelled as “Micheal.”
