Historic Pittsburgh Radio Station WDVE Sign Vanishes
A decades-old tradition in Pittsburgh has ended. Patch provides the details.

PITTSBURGH, PA — The Parkway West will look a little different from now on, as the WDVE-FM radio sign that adorned a Fleet Street building for years and was visible to inbound motorists is being removed.
The move comes four years after iHeartRadio, which owns the stations and others that used to be housed in the Green Tree building, moved to a different location.
"End of an era going down this week," WDVE DJ Chad Tyson said on social media. "The gold
flash cue DVE sign coming down today. 102.5 goes down today, WDVE going down on Friday. Ride on the parkway is going to look a lot different, man."
