Kennywood To Sell Off Authentic Pieces Of Coasters

WEST MIFFLIN, PA — Kennywood is introducing new historical souveniers at Phantom Fall Fest this week.
The amusement park has a limited number of authentic wood pieces from its storied Jack Rabbit, Racer and Thunder coasters for sale at the Arcade Gift shop. They will sell for $49.99 each.
Reaction to the sale was decidedly mixed on Kennywood's Facebook page.

"Wow. I'm all about using the wood to raise (money), but that price is absolutely absurd," Tina Marie wrote. "And I'm a coaster enthusiast who has paid crazy money for coaster/park memorabilia."
Tom Runyan agreed, stating "That's a ridiculous price! Way too high, like everything else in the park."
