Landslide Closes Portion Of Pittsburgh Busway
A water main break has triggered a large landslide that is causing transit problems in Pittsburgh.

PITTSBURGH, PA — A portion of the MLK Jr. East Busway remained closed Friday after a landslide caused rocks and debris to fall onto it.
According to Pittsburgh Public Safety, police were notified of the slide on Brereton Street just past Haran Street in the city's Polish Hill section just before 3 a.m. Arriving officers found a large spray of water caused by a water main break that caused the undermined roadway to slide down an adjacent hillside and onto the busway.
The Pittsburgh Water and Sewer Authority was notified of the water main break and shut off the water. City public works department crews placed barricades around the slide area.
