More Than 60 Cats Rescued From PA Home
The felines now are being cared for by a Pittsburgh animal shelter.

PITTSBURGH, PA — More than 60 cats are looking for new homes after they were rescued from a residence recently from a residence in the Pittsburgh suburb of Carnegie.
A post on Animal Friends of Pittsburgh's Facebook page said the rescue occurred after the organization's Humane Investigations Department was tipped off to the large number of felines residing in the home.
"Since the cats arrived, our team has jumped into action to ensure that each of them receives lots of love and has a warm bed, food and the medical care that many of them so desperately needed," the post stated.

The shelter is seeking donations to care for the cats and other animals under its care.
There were no reports of animal cruelty charges being filed in connection with the incident.
