Pittsburgh Airport Stray Cat Finds New Home

The feline was found in a Pittsburgh International Airport parking lot. That's no place for a cat to be.

MOON TOWNSHIP, PA — An apparently stray cat discovered wandering around Pittsburgh International Airport's long-term parking lot last week is now adjusting to her new home.

An airport employee spotted the cat and contacted the Allegheny County Police Department. Officers were able to catch the feline, who was extremely malnourished and in need of veterinary care.

According to the department's Facebook page, Patrol Officer Edward Watts volunteered to take the cat in and get her the treatment she needed. Spirit is approximately 1-year-old and was discovered to have multiple underlying health issues.
