A new study finds that Pittsburgh is one of the country's food-friendliest metropolitan areas.
PITTSBURGH, PA —Here is news that's easy to digest: When it comes to finding the best - and least expensive - dining options, Pittsburgh is one of the best cities in America.
That's according to WalletHub. The personal finance website has ranked more than 180 of the nation's most populated cities in order of "foodie friendliness." Pittsburgh fared well in the new study, coming in 15th.

According to WalletHub, Pittsburgh is a wallet friendly city that caters to those who enjoy exploring local eateries, cooking at home or both. To determine the city's ranking, the website used metrics that ranged from the cost of groceries to the affordability and accessibility of high-quality restaurants to the number of food festivals per capita.
