Pittsburgh-Area Ex-Teacher Facing More Sex Crime Charges

PITTSBURGH, PA — Additional charges have been filed against a former Pittsburgh-area teacher already charged with sex crimes against minors.
Allegheny County Police on Tuesday announced the charges were filed against Sean Dicer, 53, of Brackenridge, after consultation with the county district attorney's office when two more alleged victims were located.
Dicer formerly taught in the Highlands School District; he left the district in 2022.

According to court records, the new charges include indecent assault, endangering the welfare of children, two charges of unlawful contact with a minor-sexual offenses and corruption of minors. The criminal incident allegedly occurred in August 2007.
An investigation into Dicer began in November, when police received a ChildlLine report regarding a juvenile male victim who alleged that Dicer sexually assaulted him in 2021.

While investigating that allegation, detectives identified a second juvenile male victim.
County Police filed multiple charges against Dicer on December 4 to include involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child, unlawful contact with a minor, and sexual extortion.
Dicer currently is being housed in the Allegheny County Jail.
