Pittsburgh-Area Football Coach Collapses, Dies
A Pittsburgh-area football coach and junior high school teacher had a fatal incident at a football game on Friday.
PITTSBURGH, PA — A Western Pennsylvania school district is in mourning after a teacher and football coach suddenly died at a game on Friday.
Ron Todd died shortly after collapsing during Washington School District's game against McGuffey.
Washington School District Acting Superintendent BJ Mihelcic issued the following statement on social media:

"It is with profound sadness that I share the news of the passing of junior high teacher and football coach, Mr. Ron Todd, who was not only a dedicated educator and mentor but also a beloved member of our school community. Our thoughts and prayers will continue to be with his family.
"During this difficult time, we understand that many of you may be experience feelings of grief and loss. To support our students, families, and staff, we are offering grief counseling services. These resources will be available to help anyone who may need assistance in processing their emotions and finding comfort during this difficult time.

Funeral arrangements were not immediately available on Monday.
