Pittsburgh-Area Mall Sued Over Potholes

The owners of a Pittsburgh mall are being sued for the numerous potholes that have have formed on mall roadways.

FRAZER TOWNSHIP, PA — Potholes have become so problematic at the Galleria at Pittsburgh Mills that the township has gone to court to force the mall owner to fill them.

Frazer has filed a lawsuit against the New York-based Namdar Realty Group contending a 2003 agreement between the township and mall ownership makes the owners responsible for maintaining mall roads.

The lawsuit states that the numerous potholes have resulted in dangerous driving conditions and safety issues. The township contends it had no other option than to file the complaint against Namdar because it was ignoring the 2003 agreement.
