PITTSBURGH, PA — It's a uniquely Pittsburgh product for certain.

Yinzer Brands - the creators of Yinzer Cards, a line of Pittsburgh-centric greeting cards - has teamed up with candy and gift retailer Grandpa Joe’s Candy Shop to launch Yinzer Pop.

The beverage line has four flavors: Allegheny River Water (cola), Orange Belt (orange), Blawnox Boilermaker( root beer), and Sahside Sangria (grape). They come in 12-ounce glass bottles and are available at Pittsburgh-area Grandpa Joe's stores and online.

“Order a soda in Pittsburgh and you’re most likely be considered an outsider,” said Yinzer Brands co-founder Jim Krenn, the comedian and former local radio personality. “It's called pop, not soda because, let's face it, soda is something you bake with.”

For these new flavors, Krenn said Yinzer Brands partnered with Grandpa Joe’s that offers hundreds of glass bottle soda pops, retro candy and novelty gift items, in its retail stores throughout Pennsylvania, Ohio, Florida and Minnesota.
