Pittsburgh TV Station Makes Newscast Staff Addition

A Pittsburgh TV station has decided on a replacement for a recently departed member of its newscast staff.

PITTSBURGH, PA — KDKA-TV has found an experienced replacement for weekend and fill-in weather forecaster Kristin Emery, who recently retired.

Meteorologist Rob Wilson makes his debut at the station on Oct. 25.

Wilson, of Fox Chapel, has extensive TV weather forecasting experience. He worked for more than 13 years as a meteorologist for WICU-TV in Erie from 2003-2013. He also worked at stations in Panama City, FL and Tuscon AZ.

Since leaving Erie, Wilson has worked as a financial planner, a job he intends to keep doing as he assumes his part-time KDKA duties.
