Steelers Quarterback Situation: Latest Info On Wilson, Fields
Steelers coach Mike Tomlin addressed the team's quarterback situation Tuesday.

PITTSBURGH, PA — Quarterback Russell Wilson will be a full participant at practice this week, but that doesn't mean he will be behind center when the Steelers play the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday.
Steelers coach Mike Tomlin said at his weekly news conference Tuesday that Wilson will begin preparing for the game taking second team snaps so he does not disrupt quarterback Justin Fields' preparation. Fields has started the team's first five games while Wilson has been recovering from a calf injury.
Tomlin said the fact that Wilson is returning to full practice is "a door that's ajar," but he did not indicate whether he would supplant Fields as the starter.

“Until Russ gets to a point where we’re comfortable with what we’re looking at, he’s able to execute the offense and schematics, he’s able to put together back-to-back consecutive days and so forth, I just think that’s a hypothetical conversation,” Tomlin said. “We’re going to continue to push forward with Justin until those things are legitimate and then we’ll make those decisions accordingly.”
Fields has led the team to a 3-2 record. The Steelers are in a first-place tie with the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC North.
