SWAT Team Activity Shuts Down Streets In Pittsburgh Neighborhood

PITTSBURGH, PA — A SWAT team is on the scene on East Ohio Street on Pittsburgh's North Side in response to an armed person with a weapon making threats to others inside of an apartment.

At the moment, Cedar Avenue and East Commons is closed to all traffic.

Pittsburgh Public Safety advised on social media to avoid the area at this time.

The SWAT team's presence could cause traffic tie-ups in the area, as many motorists use East Ohio Street to access Route 28.
