World's Largest Rubber Duck On Way To Pittsburgh Area
After a dozen-year absence, the world's largest rubber duck will be in Western Pennsylvania this weekend.

PITTSBURGH, PA — Conceived by Dutch artist Florentijn Hofman, the world's largest rubber duck debuted in Pittsburgh in September 2013 and drew more than a million visitors to Point State
Park during its three-week stay here.
Now, the six-story fowl is on its way back to the Pittsburgh area. She will also be accompanied
by her baby duck, “Timmy the Duckling” who stands over 10 feet tall.

The duck will appear at Idlewild & Soak Zone in Westmoreland County June 27-29, providing opportunities for people to snap selfies with the supersized bath toy and enjoy duck-themed activities and merchandise throughout the weekend.
Additionally, the Wild Mouse roller coaster returns on Saturday. After a yearlong project to improve
capacity and reliability, the coaster work included a complete electrical system upgrade, new sensors along the track, new lift chain, air compression system and a new station design.
