Cranston Cops: Central Falls Prowler Popped

CRANSTON, RI — A Central Falls man wanted in connection with a breaking and entering incident in Cranston was captured, police said.

Terrence Madden, 61, was arrested Monday, the Cranston Police Department said in a media release.

Madden was wanted in connection with a Dec. 8 breaking and entering on Wentworth Avenue., according to the release.

"Investigators also believe Madden is responsible for numerous additional breaking and entering and attempted breaking and entering incidents that occurred throughout the Edgewood area between September and December 2025," the release said. "At the time of his arrest, Madden was the suspect of and was being sought by detectives on an active Cranston Police Department arrest warrant."

According to the release, "Madden has a lengthy arrest record and is previously convicted for multiple breaking and is a probation violator."
