Cranston Library Holding Design Contest

One winner from each of the two age groups will be featured on special, limited-edition cards.

CRANSTON, RI — September is Library Card Sign-Up Month, and to honor it the Cranston library is holding a special contest.

From now until the end of the month, the library will accept submissions for a library card design contest. Two winners will be featured on special, limited-edition cards.

The contest is open to Cranston residents of all ages. Winners will be chosen from two age categories: 0 to 13 years old and 14 and older. A valid Ocean State Libraries card is required to enter.

Anyone who doesn't have a library card can sign up at a Cranston library branch or sign up online.

Submission forms are also available in person at library branches, or can be printed at home. Artwork can be any medium, such as pencil, pen, paint, crayon or digital art. All entries must be submitted by 5 p.m. on Sept. 30; no late submission will be accepted.
