CRANSTON, RI — The following people were arrested by Cranston police between May and May 6.

May 1

10:18 a.m. — Daniel Crimmins, 29, of Jersey City, New Jersey, was charged with passing of counterfeit certificates/bills/notes and identity fraud. Police said the arrest stemmed from a call for service to the post office at 200 Midway Road.

May 2

4:54 a.m. — George Rodriguez-Ortiz, 30, of Cranston, was charged with domestic vandalism/malicious injury to property and domestic disorderly conduct.

6:06 p.m. — Christopher Vierra, 51, of Providence, was charged with shoplifting. Police said the arrest happened after a FLOCK hit and traffic stop on Garfield Avenue.

7:52 p.m. — Stephanie Dowling, 41, of North Kingstown, was charged with shoplifting. Police said the arrest happened after a larceny complaint at the at Marshall’s store on Oaklawn Avenue.

May 3

7:52 p.m. — Cynthia McClintock, 37, of Pawtucket, was charged with shoplifting and willful trespassing. Police said the arrest stemmed from a call for service to the Walmart on Plainfield Pike.

May 4

2:38 a.m. — Molley O’Neil, 28, and Andrew Lebron, 29, both of Cranston, were charged with domestic simple assault and domestic disorderly conduct.

May 5

12:07 a.m. — Richard Johnson, 53, of Cranston, was charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and two counts of simple assault. Police said the arrest stemmed from a call for service to Classic Laundromat at 1116 Cranston St.

6:27 p.m. — Justin Prout, 41, of Cranston, was arrested on a warrant out of Rhode Island Superior Court. Police said the arrest happened after a call for suspicious activity near the Stop & Shop on Garfield Avenue.

May 6

3:42 p.m. — Marcos Gonzalez, 39, of Providence, was charged with violating a no-contact order. He was also arrested on three warrants out of Rhode Island Superior Court.

11:21 p.m. — Savy Yon, 42, of Cranston, was charged with DUI (first offense) with a blood-alcohol level greater than 0.15. Police said Yon's blood-alcohol readings were 0.238 and 0.224. Police said the arrest stemmed from a traffic stop on Park Avenue.
