Man's Body Found In Spectacle Pond Identified: Cranston Police
Police confirmed the deceased person was Kenneth Stedman, 69, of Johnston.

CRANSTON, RI—The man's body found in the water at Spectacle Pond on Saturday night has been identified as Kenneth Stedman, 69. He is the man reported missing by the Johnston police. Cranston police said Monday the state medical examiner's office declared the death a drowning. There was no sign of foul play, according to police Major Todd Patalano.
Stedman's body was discovered behind the Stop and Shop around 7 p.m. Saturday, police said.
