RI Corrections Deputy Chief Facing Child Pornography Charges
Rhode Island State Police arrest Seth Crosby,46, of Cranston, the deputy chief of the RI Department of Corrections' Special Investigations.
CRANSTON, RI — A Rhode Island corrections official is facing child pornography charges, according to Rhode Island State Police.
Seth Crosby, 46, of Cranston is the deputy chief of the Rhode Island Department of Corrections' Special Investigations. He was charged with two counts of production or attempted production of child pornography and video voyeurism.
Crosby was arrested around 11 a.m. Wednesday. State police said the investigation began after detectives spoke to three children with concerns about Crosby. Following interviews and forensic analyses, an arrest warrant was obtained, and Crosby was taken into custody without incident, state police said.

Crosby is scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday in Third Division District Court.
