Shooting A Gun While Intoxicated; Drug Charges: Cranston Police Log

CRANSTON, RI — The following people were arrested by Cranston police between Aug. 5 and Aug. 7.

Names of those arrested, their age, or the town they reside in, as well as the time of the arrest, were only omitted when not provided by police.

Aug. 5

7:51 p.m. — Marcus Doyle, 29, of Cranston, was charged with violating a no-contact order.

Aug. 6

6:55 a.m. — Michael Shutt, 58, of Cranston, was charged with sexual offender registration required.

6:02 p.m. — Timothy Jordan, 30, of North Kingstown, was arrested on a bench warrant. Police said the arrest happened after a car stop on Reservoir Avenue at Burnside Street.

Aug. 7

1:39 a.m. — Christi Ricci, 33, of North Providence, was charged with possession of fentanyl and crack cocaine (first offense). Police said the arrest happened after a traffic stop on Reservoir Avenue.

1:39 a.m. — Miguel Rodriguez, 39, of Providence, was charged with possession of fentanyl and crack cocaine (first offense). Police said the arrest happened after a traffic stop on Reservoir Avenue.

9:49 a.m. — Nickoli Torrico, 41, of East Providence, was charged with domestic simple assault (third offense or greater).

12:30 p.m. — David Varin, 22, of Cranston, was charged with obstructing an officer in the execution of duty and resisting legal or illegal arrest. Police said the arrest stemmed from a suspicious activity call from Phenix Avenue.

1:34 p.m. — John Phildor, 36, of Providence, was charged with carrying a weapon while intoxicated and firing in a compact area. Police said Phildor turned himself in at Third District Court.

5:34 p.m. — Alisa Robinson, 30, of West Warwick, was arrested on a bench warrant. Police said the arrest happened after a car stop on Dyer Avenue at Argyle Street.

10:52 p.m. — Kimberly Gesualdi, 60, of Cranston, was charged with domestic disorderly conduct.
