Wanted Purse Thief "Brazenly" Shops after Cranston Parking Lot Grab
Police said the suspect put the purse in the trunk of his car and then casually finished up his shopping, unaware cameras were watching.
CRANSTON, RI—Police are attempting to identify a man who allegedly stole a purse from a woman in the Stop & Shop parking lot on Warwick Avenue recently.
Police said the man stole the purse, put it in the trunk of his car, and then walked back into the store "where he brazenly continued his shopping," police said.
The purse contained cash and credit cards, police said.
Police released a photo of the beer-bellied suspect at a cash register in the hopes that someone recognizes him.
