Warwick Named Among The Country's Top-10 Safest Cities: WalletHub

Both Providence and Warwick made the list of the safest cities in America, according to a new WalletHub ranking.

WARWICK, RI — Rhode Island's third-largest city is one of the safest cities in the country, according to a new ranking from WalletHub. Warwick made the top 10.

To determine the ranking, the personal finance website compared 182 cities across the country, including 150 of the most-populated and two of the most-populated in each state. The cities were ranked based on three categories: home and community safety, risk of natural disaster and financial safety.

Warwick was ranked number seven overall, and Providence also made the list at number 39. Here's how each city fared in each category.
