• Teamsters School Bus Workers Win Strong New Contract in Rhode Island (teamster.org) — School bus drivers and attendants who serve East Providence schools have ratified a new Teamsters contract that delivers an average 23 percent wage increase over three years, plus pension, health care, and bonuses. The Ocean State Transit workers, who were prepared to strike, say the deal finally recognizes the essential role they play in safely transporting local students every day.
