Underage Drinking, 'Large Disturbance' Leads To Glocester Arrests: Cops
Officers saw "numerous young people pushing and fighting on the property," police said.

GLOCESTER, RI — Two men and a woman were arrested and two "underage females" were treated for "extreme intoxication" following a "large disturbance" at a Fourth of July party, police said.
Glocester officers responding to a "reported melee" at a Spring Grove Road residence shortly before 9:30 p.m. on Independence Day "observed numerous young people pushing and fighting on the property."
The Glocester department called in reinforcements and the Burrillville, Smithfield and Scituate police departments, along with the Rhode Island State Police, responded, the Glocester police said.

"Investigation revealed numerous underage individuals had been drinking inside the residence and outside on the property," police said. "Rescue was called for two underage females for extreme intoxication."
Two men and a woman were arrested eight days later, police said.

A resident of the Spring Grove Road address, 37-year-old Rachel Hernandez, was arrested on a charge of furnishing of alcoholic beverages for underage persons, police said.
Hernandez, who also has an address on Log Road in Smithfield, was on probation at the time of her arrest due to a December driving under the influence with a child under 13 years old in Smithfield, the Glocester police said.
Another resident of the Spring Grove Road address, 48-year-old Bryan Borzell, was also charged with the furnishing of alcoholic beverages for underage persons, police said.
An 18-year-old who shares the same Log Road address in Smithfield as Hernandez, Alexander Borzell, was charged with simple assault on a uniform member of the Glocester Police Department, police said.
"Alexander Borzell kicked a uniformed member of the Glocester Police Department several times while he attempted to locate the homeowners near the front door of the residence," police said.
