JOHNSTON, RI — A laundromat in Johnston caught fire Thursday morning and sustained extensive damage, according to fire officials.
Fire officials said the fire broke out around 2:30 a.m. at the laundromat on Atwood Avenue. The laundromat is right near the fire station and allowed firefighters to act quickly.
The laundromat was closed at the time, and no one suffered injuries.
