JOHNSTON, RI — Although the biggest Mega Million winner has yet to claim to their prize, there was a smaller prize claimed locally.

A Johnston man won $10,000 playing Mega Millions, Rhode Island Lottery officials said. Lottery officials said the man's win came from Tuesday's drawing.

According to lottery officials, he purchased the winning ticket at Shop N Go at 237 Greenville Ave. in Johnston.
