2 Newport Mansions Offering Free Admission For Martin Luther King Jr. Day
Find out when you can get into the Breakers and Marble House in Newport for free.

NEWPORT, RI — The Preservation Society of Newport County will offer free admission to two of the city's historic mansions, including the Breakers and Marble House, on Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
The Breakers and Marble House — two national historic landmarks built during the Gilded Age by members of the Vanderbilt family — will be open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, with last entry at 4 p.m.
This offer does not include "The Breakers Third Floor Preservation in Progress" or "Beneath The Breakers" specialty tours. Because the number of visitors inside each house at any one time is limited, guests may experience a wait prior to entering the mansions.
