NEWPORT, RI – January 8th, 2024 – BedJet CEO and first term Newport City Councilor Mark Aramli is taking a personal stake in providing a boost to Newport’s underprivileged communities. Today Mr. Aramli announced a $2M charitable donation from his BedJet company, with a primary mission of supporting underprivileged families with children in the Newport area who struggle with food insecurity, homelessness, mental health support, and educational resources.

About the Aramli Foundation:
Established in 2020 by Mark and Ida Aramli, the Aramli Foundation is a private charitable foundation with a mission to support local Aquidneck Island families and children in need. The Aramli Foundation is funded by proceeds from the BedJet company. The BedJet company is committed to ongoing funding of the Foundation for every BedJet Climate Comfort Sleep System sold. In the past three years, over $350,000 in charitable grants have been issued by the Aramli Foundation, enabled by hundreds of thousands of units sold by the BedJet company and its continued emergence as an international sleep brand.

About the BedJet company:
Founded in Newport, RI by local inventor Mark Aramli, BedJet is the sleep technology company that created the world’s first ultra-rapid cooling, warming, and sweat drying sleep system just for beds. When launching the company, Mark Aramli appeared on ABC’s Shark Tank where he was quickly denied a deal and told by the Sharks that nobody would ever buy a BedJet. “The product is dead already,” said Shark Kevin O’Leary. Five years later, the BedJet company was cited by Kiplinger’s magazine as one of the top ten most successful fails in the history of the Shark Tank show. The company has experienced explosive growth since product launch in 2015 and now sells in over 40 countries.
