East Bay Community Action Program Announces New Staff Appointment
Iliana Saavedra, DDS, of Cranston, RI, joins EBCAP's East Bay Dental Center in Newport.

East Bay Community Action Program (EBCAP) is pleased to welcome Iliana Saavedra, DDS, of Cranston, RI, to EBCAP’s East Bay Dental Center at 19 Broadway in Newport. An experienced community health professional, Dr. Saavedra provides comprehensive dental care to both children and adults. She is bilingual in English and Spanish ensuring optimal oral health and care coordination for EBCAP’s diverse patient population.
Dr. Saavedra earned her Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the University of Texas School of Dentistry and her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Houston. She completed her residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at NYU Langone Care in Providence, RI and her fellowship in Forensic Odontology at Lincoln Memorial University in Harrogate, TN.
Dr. Saavedra’s practice includes caring for patients at EBCAP’s community dental clinic and Friends and Family Dental in East Providence. Prior to 2022, she practiced general dentistry at Comprehensive Community Action Program in Cranston.
